Rules and Etiquette

Course Rules

To ensure the enjoyment of all golfers, please read and follow these simple rules.

RCGA rules govern all play

Out of Bounds - Shall be defined by white stakes and boundary fences.

Water & Lateral Hazards - Shall be designated by yellow and red stakes.

Local Rules - when your ball come to rest in the creek or ravine, proceed to the designated drop area and incur a 1 stroke penalty.

Free Relief - Drop your ball one club length from the point where the interference no longer exists, and no closer to the hole.

Course Etiquette

Please fix and repair all ball marks.

Please replace all divots.

Please rake all bunkers.

Pace of Play

Your position on the golf course is directly behind the group in front of you, not directly in front of the group behind you.

Please follow the suggestion from our Starters and Player Assistant.

Play the tees appropriate to your ability.

Platinum:     0-6 handicap (only can be played with valid handicap or permission from the Pro Shop)
Gold:             7-12 handicap
Black:           13-25 handicap
White:           25+ handicap

It should take no longer then 4 and 1/2 hour to play 18 holes.

Complete your round in less then 4 and 1/2 hours and receive a 20% discount on your next round.

Cart Rules

Observe cart rules of the day.

Cart must stay on the pathway around tees and greens.

Please exit fairways before the directional cart sign.

Please keep carts 30 feet away from bunkers and hazards.

Dress Code

Proper golf attire is required.

No jeans, t-shirts, track pants or cut of shorts.

Soft spikes only.

Reservation and Cancelation Policy

Tee times can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance.

Full name, phone number and an e-mail address is required to book.

Tee times must be canceled 24 hours in advance.

Groups that don’t show will be charged and issued rain checks.

Rain Check Policy

Rain checks are issued for extreme inclement weather that includes but is not limited to storms and lightning. Rain checks are issued based on your position of play at the point of interruption. Prior to receiving a rain check, players must present their green fee receipt to the Pro Shop.

If 4 or less holes are completed (A 18-hole rain check will be issued)

If 5 – 12 holes are completed (A 9-hole rain check will be issued)

If 13+ holes are completed (No rain check will be issued)
